Clock Tower, Mecca

At the height of 450m RIVA contributed its share to the Abraj Al-Bait Towers in Mecca, also known as the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, the third tallest building of the world, by creating a transparent, lightweight glass façade, resembling a gigantic gem spanning six floors in height and 35m in width, which houses a research institute for Islamic studies high above Mecca.

The Jewel was designed, engineered, constructed and eventually installed on top of the roof of the Makkah Royal Clock Tower by RIVA. A very challenging and hard to manage project, which RIVA carried out in excellent and captivating quality due to a highly committed team of engineers and construction and installation workers who never shunned from breaking the mold.
